Replacement basket filters also known as inline strainer baskets, the basket filters are made of single layer or multilayer of perforated sheet, woven wire mesh, expanded metal, pleated mesh and wedge wire screen by welding process, the straining elements are available in a flat top or slanted top design. Moreover, flat bottom, rounded bottom and funneled bottom is available as per customs’ need. The strainer baskets are mainly used to replace existing baskets or can be installed in a in-line strainer housing in the path of the fluid flow, forcing the fluid to pass through the filter elements, so that the impurities are captured and hold by the baskets, preventing the debris from entering the pump or returning to the flow.
