Coffee / tea filter is a filter element excellent for brewing coffee or tea, it is commonly made from perforated sheets or woven wire mesh. The fine stainless steel screen enables it to easily filter out the coffee grounds or tea leaves, then allow the liquid coffee or tea to flow through, the tea leaves can be recycled and drawn 3 to 4 times each.

For a filter to be compatible with a coffee maker or teapots, the filter needs to be a specific shape and size. Common in the application is filter discs with diameter size range from 2” to 6”, cone-shaped filters #2, #4, and #6, as well as basket shaped filters in an 8-12 cup size.
